TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged 18 years or over.

3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Participating Retailers (defined below) and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

4. A “Participating Retailer” is any BWS or Dan Murphy’s physical store Australia wide that stocks Eligible Products (defined below) and displays advertising material for this promotion.

5. Entries into the promotion open on 01/07/2025 and close at 11:59 AEST on 31/08/2025 (“Promotional Period”).

6. To be eligible to enter, eligible individuals must, during the Promotional Period, purchase a 24-pack carton of Better Beer Zero Carb or a 24-pack carton of Better Beer Middy Cans (each an “Eligible Product”) at a Participating Retailer (a “Qualifying Purchase”) for the chance to find one (1) of five (5) “winning cans”. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure a purchase receipt is provided to them if one is not provided at the time of the Qualifying Purchase.

7. There will be a total of five (5) Eligible Products that will contain a winning can inside the pack. There will be three (3) winning cans in Better Beer Zero Carb cartons and two (2) winning cans in Better Beer Middy cartons. Each winning can will be secretly planted by the Promoter at selected Participating Retailer locations that have been previously determined by the Promoter. Each winning can will be identified by a unique ring pull open whereby the lid will come off and there will be a QR code printed on the underside of the lid. For the avoidance of doubt, the winner will be the person who has purchased the Eligible Product containing the winning can and can produce the original purchase receipt evidencing the Qualifying Purchase.

8. Individuals that find a winning can during the Promotional Period, will, subject to verification, each win $20,000 credit on the ARRIVAL app to be used for a holiday of their choice. Individuals must retain the winning can inside their Eligible Product and follow the instructions provided to claim the prize, which include, during the Promotional Period, visiting the promotional website by scanning the QR code on the winning can or visiting https://www.betterbeer.com.au, following the prompts to the promotion entry page, entering all requested details including uploading a photograph of the winning can, a copy of their purchase receipt and submitting the fully completed entry form.

9. Individuals who make a Qualifying Purchase, but do not locate a winning can may enter a Second Chance Draw (defined below), during the Promotional Period, by visiting https://www.betterbeer.com.au, following the prompts to the promotion entry page, entering all requested details including uploading a copy of their purchase receipt and submitting the fully completed entry form.

10. Winners will be notified by email once their entries have been validated within two (2) days of validation, and winners will have their details (initial, surname and postcode) published at https://www.betterbeer.com.au/pages/win-the-trip-of-a-lifetime-with-better-beer from 7 September 2025.

11. Only one (1) major prize may be claimed per person (excluding SA residents).

12. Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of an entrant’s entry and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt must clearly specify the product purchased, store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry.

13. The Promoter, reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

14. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

15. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. Winners must download the ARRIVAL app to apply their $20,000 credit to a holiday package of their choice. The $20,000 credit cannot be used for multiple holidays and the entire amount must be used for a single holiday. Winners can choose to include companion(s) in the trip. Winners may also choose to ‘upscale’ their prize and spend more than the $20,000 credit on their trip. The winners are responsible for any travel costs in excess of $20,000.

18. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the ARRIVAL travel voucher are not included. Any unused balance of the ARRIVAL travel voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the ARRIVAL travel voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the ARRIVAL travel voucher.

19. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.

20. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic or any other kind of disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

21. The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at www.nhmrc.gov.au. Entry and continued participation in this promotion is subject to the licensee’s liquor serving policy.

22. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

23. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

24. Total prize pool is up to $100,000.

25. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place at the Promoter’s office at 16 The Esplanade, Torquay VIC 3228 on 7 October 2025 at 11AM AEDT, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority, in the presence of an independent scrutineer (“Second Chance Draw”). 27. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
